Land Ports of Entry
Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont
Beginning in 2004, under the purview of the Department of Homeland Security, Michael Baker Corp. subcontracted Titcomb Associates to complete ALTA/ACSM land title surveys for 41 border crossing stations in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont as part of the US-VISIT program.
The sites varied greatly in size and complexity. Several locations required substantial boundary research and extensive underground utility investigation. The surveys included identification and location of all overhead and underground utilities and rim and invert elevations for drainage and sewer structures. Titcomb Associates worked closely with Michael Baker Corporation to ensure the surveys were completed in accordance with government specifications and within required schedules. Supplemental survey work also has been performed, including photogrammetric control and site acquisition surveys.
Supplemental survey work has also been performed, including site acquisition surveys working with the Army Corps of Engineers, and photogrammetric control surveys.
